Scan Pack

Any medicine in the world. One photo.

The website covers medicines sold in Bangladesh. The app scans or searches medicines from anywhere: a pack brought from India, a prescription from abroad, a bottle from the UK or the US. The AmarMeds smart AI scanner identifies it and explains it in Bangla or English.

How it works

01

Snap the pack

Use the camera or pick a photo from your gallery. Keep the brand name in view.

02

We read and match it

The printed text is read and looked up in our list of 21,000+ Bangladeshi medicines first. A medicine from another country is identified by AI.

03

Read it in plain words

Use, usual dosage, warnings, pregnancy, side effects, maker and price, then other brands of the same medicine, cheapest first.

What you get

Medicines from any country

Bought abroad, sent by a relative or prescribed overseas: scan it or type its name, and get its use, usual dosage, warnings, side effects and pregnancy advice.

Checked against a real list

When the pack matches a known Bangladeshi brand, the answer uses that brand's generic name, strength, maker and price from the list.

Cheaper brands of the same medicine

Every result lists other brands with the same generic and strength, so you can ask your pharmacist about a cheaper one.

Honest about limits

Every answer reminds you that it can be wrong. Your doctor, your prescription and the label always come first.

Questions

Does the scanner need internet?

Yes. The photo is read on our server. Your saved medicines and reminders work without internet.

What happens to my photo?

Photos sent for a scan are deleted from our server after 30 days. You do not sign in, so a scan is not linked to you.

Can I search by name instead?

Yes. In the app you can search any medicine in the world by name. The website's medicine directory covers medicines sold in Bangladesh.

Is the AI always right?

No. AI answers can be wrong, especially for medicines from abroad, and prices are estimated for Bangladesh. Check the label and ask a doctor or pharmacist.

Photograph or type any medicine, from Bangladesh or any other country, and the AmarMeds AI scanner tells you what it is for, how it is usually taken, its side effects and warnings.
