What you get

The medicine directory

Brand names, generic names, strengths, forms, makers and prices come from AmarMeds' list of more than 21,000 medicines sold in Bangladesh, kept and corrected by our team. Prices are approximate retail prices, not official rates, and may have changed.

Health guides

Every guide names its author, with their background, and shows when it was published and last updated. Guides explain; they do not diagnose or prescribe.

AI-written answers

When you scan a pack the medicine list does not cover, or it has no notes on use, dosage or side effects, the app asks an AI model (Google Gemini). Those answers say they are AI-generated and can be wrong.

What we do not claim

AmarMeds is not a doctor, a pharmacy or a government source. Our prices are not verified against official rates. Always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's directions and the label on the pack.

Questions

I found a mistake. How do I report it?

Tell us in a review on Google Play, naming the medicine or the guide. We correct the medicine list and the guides when a mistake is confirmed.

Who writes the guides?

The authors listed on our authors page, each with their background. Their name is on every guide they write.
